Giving some serious thought to purchasing an EOTech 512. Looking for comments by anyone who has one or has had one. All comments welcome, pro's and con's.

It's a great sight.. I recently purchased the newer XPS2.. The 512 takes up a little more room.. I think they are the best.. Let the flame begin..

I have a 512 with GG&G mount and flip ups. Ive had it for about 3 years. Its an awesome investment. I paired it with a vortex vmx3 combo and it made it that much better.

I have one and I love it. My rifle is mainly used for hog hunting, and it fits my needs for the property I hunt.

I purchased my first one in 2007. I loved it so much, I purchased 2 more. I prefer the new XPS models because they are lighter and take up less room. But, the 512 is an excellent sight!

Go for any AA battery model, a lot easier to come by in tough times.

I used one in the sandbox, I loved it.

If you think a 7lbs weapon is too heavy either A.) tote a SAW around for 15 months or B.) suck it up and do 10 pull ups every morning.

    :)
