Eotech XPS battery cap question

I haven't checked in a while, but take a look at the threads I'm pretty sure they're aluminum.

bright aluminum.. I just checked mine it is aluminum

Remove the cap and give it a magnet test. Pretty sure it's aluminum though.

Flip up troys. I have an LMT, with an eotech 512, that has a fixed front sight.

Are you going for a non-magnetic setup? Or if it was steel were you going to have to replace it with aluminum or titanium to shave a few grams?

I scuffed it pretty good with a screw driver. I didn't want to have any rust issues. Replacments are $20.
