    picked up a stainless s&w .38 for 100.00 that doesn't have a single scratch on it. thought I posted that?? If I didn't i need to- pics later.

    I'm not a revolver fan and admittedly don't know much about non-mainstream guns. I know some guys tackle serial numbers on old 22's etc and know when its worth a fortune... if its not in incredible shape and a no-brainer purchase, I kind of stay away out of ignorance. That being said, there's almost always a nice gun waiting to be sold at these buybacks. there was a buyback in boston while I was visiting family and there was a huge turnout of people selling (mostly junk) for 100.00 visa gift cards. Rifles of any type were 200. I think the paper said they collected 300 guns in 48 hours?

    I made no purchases, but a friend picked up a VZ for 250 and a bolt action .22 for 150 (no clue what model etc it was but he was excited)
