Can I have a vehicle in Louisiana inspected with a Colorado Drivers license?

Vehicle is registered in Louisiana to me.

as long as the vehicle is registered in louisiana and you have a louisiana insurance card your good to go

I don't, I have a Colorado insurance card, and I'm required by colorado law to register any vehicles I own in colorado within 90 days. I can't register it in colorado without it being there though.

Inspection stickers are not required in my county, but they have a mandated "VIN inspection" that must be performed before they will allow me to register the vehicle in Colorado.

I just moved to colorado a month ago. I still work here. I left the car here so I have something to drive from the airport to the dock.

ic you should be able to get it inspected anyway but if you plan on, leaving it here id just register it here

I've taken cars the be inspected for friends and used my DL for their cars. If you have a ins. card for here and registed here just get a friend to go with you.

They really just look at the insurance card to insure you are carrying insurance on the vehicle. Colorado card will work.

Not true. Only some parishes and certain cities within certain parishes require this. I live in St.John and can get an inspection almost anywhere.

If your vehicle is registered in a municipality that has it's own sticker, you are suppossed to use that, but most LA places will give you an LA one. My vehicle is registered in NOLA, and the ones around here will not give me a LA one, I must go to a NOLA place .
