Ok guys, what's your favorite handgun to shoot and why? I mean like my 357 because I love the recoil and it's accurate as hell! Beside its my first gun I ever purchased.
All 3 of these guns are a blast to shoot, but for different reasons. Left to right. TX22, Ruger 357 (favorite) and my RIA 1911.

So let's hear about yours? And Go!

My springfield xd .40 subcompact. I know that gun in and out. It was my first and still is my go-to carry gun. It's actually the one in my profile picture. It ain't much to look at, but it's reliable as hell and always goes boom no matter what I feed it!

When I was younger/healthier and shooting a G34 often my best groups at 25 yards standing with 18 rounds on a good day was about 4".

My Colt New Frontier .22LR. I love the history behind the Colt single actions coupled with the .22LR cartridge. There are innumerable .22LR single actions available but the Colt, with its high polish, rich bluing and color casehardened frame is a true gem IMHO.

Since you like your 1911 45acp bet you would like this.
Oh and my 1911 shoots the full wad pictured too.
Yea old school-in with shot gun powders and old tire weights and a stash of 18-20 buck a brick primers.

My Browning Challenger .22. It was my grandfathers and the first pistol that I was taught to shoot even though the grip was really too large. I still take it to the range occasionally and after so many years it fits like a glove. It's a pretty gun with the wood grip and gold trigger - many older guns just look better than my current crop of 1/2 plastic semi autos to me.

A lot of .22's listed here.
I've a Stainless Mk IV with a 4" Pac Lite upper that I've been shooting the heck out of lately.
I've a Colt Woodsman MT that is a joy to shoot. No fun to clean.
The most accurate handgun, in my hand, so far has been a Colt Camp Perry, but it's not mine.

So I'm going with the Mk IV in rimfire.

    In Centerfire, . . .

It has to be a toss up between my Ruger 6in standard MKIII and my CZ P07 with CGW pro package. Either of these guns I am proficient with.

The Smith 625 Model of 1989 was a revolver that I had my eyes on when I was a teen. I finally got one 7 years ago. It's a tack driver that packs a little wallop, but won't punish you like a .44 magnum. It's fun to shoot in any stance. I prefer right hand only.
