I'm not an attorney but I stayed in a Holiday Inn Select a few months ago. As I understand it, the ruling only applies to retailers in Judge O'Conner's district (100 counties in North and Central Texas). If the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals upholds his decision, it will then be legal for retailers in Texas Louisiana and Mississippi to sell to people from another state. AND if the Supreme Court decides to hear the case and upholds the 5th's ruling, retailers in all state's can sell to any US citizen regardless of the state they live in.
