Florida Permit

How many of you have Florida Permits and need to get Louisiana Permit or have already changed to Louisiana?

My wife and I received our Louisiana Permit yesterday and my daughter received hers a few weeks ago

Guess I'll use the Florida permit for target practice.

Getting the LA permit: Yes. Already took the class, got the prints, just need to send in the paperwork.

Keeping the FL permit: Yes. At $107 for SEVEN years, it's well worth it. Plus I still have about 5 years left on mine. It may come in handy someday, and it's one more permit a hostile government would have to find a way to strip from me.

Don't...there could be some states that have not gotten around to establishing reciprocity with LA but have it with FL.

You can have more than one...I had 3 or 4 several years ago to improve my coverage.

I've had a La CHP since 1996 but have never bothered getting a permit from Florida or any other state. I don't really travel enough to worry about it.

LA permit

I have had the FL permit for 10 or more years, GA before that. I had my prints done yesterday in BR and dropped my package off. Thanks to all that gave me input. No blunders went well

Got the LA permit in March. I'll keep the Florida permit due to reciprocity with New Mexico.

I got my LA last year when the first wind of this non-resident stuff came blowing through. Glad I did.
