A real camo job would be skin colored and look like your hand.

I have spent much of my life in pattern recognition and never understood why the "camo" designers never paid much attention to surroundings and never matched camo pattern size to the size of the object they are trying to conceal. Most hunting and military camo patterns are way too small for what they are trying to do.

If I were to camouflage a Glock, it would be a mix of skin-tones, little hairs, shadows, and fingernails. It would "disappear" in a person's hand.
