My hammer is, several pounds of BullsEye powder, but I can't find a recipe for loading 147gr jacketed hollow points. Alliant guide only lists BE-86 with Federal 100 primers. Anybody got numbers for BullsEye and CCI 500's ?
0.355, 0.356, 0.357" bullets--they all need to start at the starting load and work up.
Oh, you mean "Are we discussing 9x19?"
Reloading 101 rule #1: Doesn't matter even if you have the same powder, cases, bullets, and primers as the manual--you STILL start with the starting load and work up--as least if safety is important to you.
Assuming that 9x19 (9mm Parabellum, 9mm Luger, etc.) is what 1WISE1 is interested in, are you saying you can't find data for Bullseye and 147gn bullets for 9x19? Have you tried a reloading manual? A LYMAN reloading manual might be good to purchase.
Start loads in my manuals range from 3.3-3.8gn and MAX ranges from 3.9-4.2gn. I would load 3.4, 3.6, 3.8, and 4.0gn, watching for pressure signs.
