For those who are not aware, Fort Polk conducts monthly highpower matches at the Range 23 500yd known distance range on the last saturday of every month. We schedule Garand, Military bolt, and 500 yard any sight matches for June, July, and August, and shoot 80 round standard highpower courses of fire the rest of the year. I would like to encourage you to come and shoot with us when you can. The Fort Polk crowd prides themselves on assisting and promoting new shooters in a safe but learning atmosphere, and are always willing to help in any way.
