It's definitely not as good as the original. We've been twice as it's right around the corner from me and I was always a fan of the Airline location. The food was only OK and service was lacking. Could be better now as my last visit was over a year ago. Maybe they've improved since I tried it last.

If I remember correctly , the service was OK . Those " world famous biscuits " were burnt on the bottom . Bleh .

Google says it's a little restaurant at the intersection of Hwy 44 and Airline in Gonzales with good lunch and better breakfast. I never heard of it until his post.
