In the last 10 months the wife and I have fired around 7-8K rounds of their 380, 9, 45acp, and 300BLK without a single issue. I'd say shoot them an email and see if they don't take care of the problem if in fact it is the ammo.
i've had great results with Freedom Munitions so far...
Recently purchased 3k rounds for local competitions and haven't had any failures due to ammo. I purchased their 124gr 9mm FMJ and have been shooting them out my HK P30L, M&P 9 Pro CORE, M&P 9 VTAC, M&P 9 FDE, M&P Shield 9, and HK P7 PSP...
I'd email the manufacturer right away with documentation and pics...
Also, check the primer caps, see if there's solid dimples where the striker hit.
or give it to me, I'll see if it runs in any of my guns lol
Shot a lot of 223, 9mm, 45ACP, and as of the last week, some of their FMJ 44mag.
I had my first /ever/ memorable malfunction with any of their ammo and it was a nonfunctioning primer in a 44mag. I hit the thing three times in a Ruger Redhawk. First hit was a faint dent, the second was a dent near identical to all other fired rounds, and the third was not much different. I gave up, used the leatherman to pull the bullet, and tossed it in the trash.
I noticed some of the 45ACP I just shot was SEEMINGLY erratic in power. I was shooting a 1911 that is kept pretty clean and well lubricated, and brass was going all over. Some straight up and back, some forward to the right, straight right, back and right, just... anywhere. Could be a few things, but it was not the most accurate stuff either. Cheap blaster ammo, so not like I cared a /whole lot/ but it was interesting at least.
Yep purchased one of their crazy deals , 500rds of 223 in November and every other round failed to feed . Thought it might be my ar didn't like reloads so sold them on gun broker for way to much !
Finally got a response from FM.
Long story short, "please send all remaining ammo back and we will replace it".
I guess it's going to be the USPS small box pack tight!
I bought 500 rounds (reload 9mm) from them a few months ago. Fired around 200 rounds so far through a Shield and full size M&P and had no malfunctions of any kind.
