Anyone know if it's legal to carry at FQF? I'm thinking the mint might still be a government building, so not there. What about Jackson Square and the riverfront park?

The Mint is part of the Louisiana State Museum System. I've never seen a no weapons sign in any of their museums in the French Quarter. Unless you have a child who will be going the the indoor stage or you use the bathrooms, you won't be going inside. If you're really concerned, you can set your chair on the sidewalk outside the fence. The rest of the venues are all public property with no carry restrictions.

I live in the Quarter, go to FQF and CCW.
