Just signed up here on Bayou Shooter. Long time shooter and hunter. My daughter is about to turn 16 and she is very interested in getting into shooting competitions around the Bayou State. I figured this would be a good place to look. Thanks in advance for any help given.

I'd look for a local YHEC program. It is a very rounded introduction into many forms of shooting with a focus on safe, ethical hunting.

Thank you everyone for the warm welcome. I will start researching the sites mentioned. I've purchased her a Beretta Neos to learn with. I plan on (SSSHHHH) giving her my Glock 19 eventually to shoot and customize to fit her style and fit the competitions she can participate in. But that is in the future….
