I am looking to sell my 1860 .36 Whitney Navy Revolver. This revolver was contracted by the US for the Navy during the Civil War and this piece did serve in the war (I purchased it from the original family). My slightly outdated 2008 Standard Catalog of Firearms lists the values of this 2nd model as Good - $1750, Fair - $750, Poor - $250. The revolver is in working order and is decent shape overall. It still retains the original patina and has never been improperly cleaned. It would make a great addition to any collection and civil war pieces such as this are a great investment! I am asking $700 obo. If it is still around this weekend I am taking it to the gun show in Kenner. If you have any questions, please let me know. I also may be willing to trade if the right offer comes along. Thanks!
