I am helping a family friend sell her car. This thing is in fantastic mechanical and cosmetic shape. She recently was suckered into paying $650 to do basic little maintenance jobs on it (listed below) since she let it sit for several months.

I would buy this thing myself if I could afford to spend the cash right now. I have a 2000 Camry and it's a great daily driver and REALLY easy to maintain.

Asking price is $4,100. I've explained to the owner that this is a very fair price for both parties considering the condition and the very low mileage. KBB has private sale prices between $4,600-$4,900. NADA has clean retail at over $5,400. Yes, I understand these are not 100% accurate estimates but I've been around cars enough to know this is a good price and I am VERY confident it will move at this price range. Please understand that I'm just minimizing the time wasted on having to haggle while giving both parties the warm fuzzies. It is probably important to mention that I am getting zero commissions on this. I'm just helping out a friend who has the potential to be very easily taken advantage of.

Title is clear. Vehicle is located in Baton Rouge.

UPDATE: I learned today (9/10/13) that the owner had recently removed her husband's name from the title (he's deceased). It has been two weeks since the title was changed so she is still waiting for it to arrive in the mail. I don't anticipate for it to take much longer to get in but we ARE talking about the DMV here...

    Specs/notes:
    Only 76,000 miles
    FWD 4 cyl, 2.2L engine
    Auto Transmission
    Brand new radiator
    Brand new air intake tube
    Brand new battery
    fairly new rear tires
alternator is less than 2 years old
All scheduled maintenance has been made on it to (to the best of owner's knowledge).
    Cruise Control
Power mirrors, driver seat, locks, and windows
    Aluminum alloy wheels
    COLD COLD COLD COLD AC
    CD/tape player combo (factory)
    factory alarm & keyless entry
VERY clean interior & good paint job. Was kept under a carport most of its life.
Will have brand new brake job on the front prior to getting sold.

Paint is nice but has typical dings and imperfections for a car this age. Clearcoat is still in good condition except for rear bumper.
There is a VERY VERY VERY small oil weep (I wouldn't even consider it a leak) coming from the valve cover gasket. Very simple fix if it even concerns you.
Front brakes feel like the rotors are warped. Vehicle is 100% safe as-is but this will be corrected prior to sale.

Pics below show morning shots. Dew is still on the vehicle.
