I am putting up for sale my Marlin 1894 P. This is the one with the short barrel and ports. It is like the 1895P in 45/70 but smaller in 44 mag/44spec. It is really like a pistol with a stock. I have carried it in the woods and shot a couple of deer with it. The metal is excellent and the buttstock has three scratches on it from riding on the handlebars of my 4 wheeler in the woods. The rifle shoots very well, and the round count is well under 200. I am asking $700.00 OBO and it comes just as it is pictured with the AO front and rear sights along with the scout scope mount. This is the ideal pig shooting rifle. I did use it with a Weaver 2X pistol scope on it and it was ideal out to 100yrds.
