For sale a mint condition 586-4 brazil 4.25" barrel. 1 of 23 in the us. Gun comes in correct box with papers. The person I bought it from said it was unfired in the box, and I have not shot it. It does have a slight turn line, but thats it. The pics don't do it justice, it has a deep blue finish. $850obo

Better lighting, and use the macro setting on the camera. Daylight works best, not direct sunlight though. Nice gun, would make a nice center piece for my (or anyone else) collection for sure!

The flash makes it look different. I know some rugers turn plum purple, but this doen't look that way looking at it with your eyes.

The Brazilian government ordered a special production run of the 586, which is normally chambered for .357, in .38 caliber.

They cancelled the order prior to its completion so slightly over 200 were sold in the US. Of those sold, only 23 were of the model code 103498 which is the 4 1/4" barrel.

Not trying to **** in your thread, just shedding further light on the subject.
