FS Springfield 1898 30-40 Krag

I am posting this for a friend. He is selling his Springfield 1898 30-40 Krag Rifle Sporterized. He has had the gun for a year or so and it is a shooter. I watched him put one in the bull’s eye at 50 yards about a month ago. He is asking $400/OBO and he can ship. The gun is located in Shreveport and is in my possession at this time. If someone would like any other pictures of the gun please let me know. This much I know about the gun. It is not one of the "NRA" stamped guns nor is it the carbine. Other than that I am not very knowledgeable about these guns. Also included with the gun are 29 rounds of 180GR Winchester power points.

As a owner of a almost indentical gun, the bolt is smoooooth as silk, you have to try it to believe it. Mines a good shooter too. Whoever gets will have of helleva rifle. This one is great shape by the look of it in the pics. +1 for the rifle!!!!

Old Krags are great but once you sporterize a milsurp it becomes a weird hunting rifle in an obsolete caliber.
