This is basically the same type of fundraiser as those 5/10ks but it is a crossfit workout.

Crossfit gyms around the country compete in a competition called "Fight Gone Bad." The premise is to raise funds to support Special Operations Warrior Foundation and other chartiable organizations.

Info is available here - http://sportsgrants.org/fgb6/

Info on SOWF is here - http://sportsgrants.org/fgb6/sowf

On September 17th, thousands of CrossFitters will be enduring 17 minutes of pure grit and dedication in honor of those who have sacrificed their whole lives to service. I'll be there. Please check out my page and support my 17 minutes! Pass it on.

Please click on my link to donate. I need to raise at least $150 to compete.

You only hesitated to satisfty your urge. :o

I am NOT going to dishonor this noble thread by responding to that using foul words such as "skeet skeet, loins en fuego, frozen Eddie, sticky keys (not the press Shift 5 times kind), peeling skins, flogging and/or dolphin". That would be disrespectful.

http://vimeo.com/15890572 video from last year's baton rouge fight gone bad at the Kidd Event also helps support Crossfit kids, teaches young underpriviledged kids to swim, i believe focused on self rescue to prevent drowinings, and Camp Patriot an organization that gives wounded members of the armed forces a chance to summit mount ranier.
