I think it is a great choice. The people who don't like it are either afraid of it or just jealous of how awesome it is. Plus Texas DPS, the best LEO'S in America, carry weapons chambered in 357 SIG.

They carry the Glock 31 in .357 SIG. as their primary duty pistol because it shoots flatter and has more hard barrier penetration than the .45 ACP they once used.

Sounds like a great reason to me. Never know when you might have to shoot through a car door or a windshield.
