While dry firing my Glock 42 this morning I noticed that the trigger is not resetting. I have to pull the slide back to reset the trigger. I ran 60 rounds through the gun back in June/July and it worked without a problem. Any suggestions? They gun is clean as far as basic tear down cleaning the barrel slide spring. Thanks

Just to clarify when I say it doesn't reset. When dry firing the trigger gets locked all the way rear until I rack the slide

If there isnt any live ammunition in the firearm, it wont "auto" reset.
When dry firing, you have to manually rack the slide for it to reset.

What Mxav said. That's how the gun works. The trigger will not reset if the slide is not cycled as when shooting; or manually cycle the slide. It sounds like your gun is working properly.

It's obviously a defective gun and highly dangerous so let me take it off your hands for your own safety. I'll give you $5 for it
