Okay, ladies and gentlemen, it's time to break out those old war clubs and blow the dust off of them. You know that M1 Garand you bought from CMP? Now is the time to come out and shoot it in fun, laid back match.
We are having an M1 Garand, 1903 or 03A3 Springfield, or Vintage Military Bolt action match. You may also shoot that Johnson (if you have one), a 1917 Enfield, a carbine, or any other as-issued military bolt action rifle. This is more of a fun match, but it is a true CMP-registered match, so there will be CMP awards at the match.

BUT, before you pack up the stationwagon and head out there to shoot this weekend, note that the Pearl River WMA has been closed by the LA Department of Wildlife and Fisheries and won't open the WMA until LA DOTD has a chance to inspect the bridges after the recent floods. Assuming there is no damage, we should be open the weeekend of May 1-3. Check the website or call the 24-hr information line before you make the drive.
