Well...looks like I'm in the match but out in the cold for the moment. Any suggesstions on hotels in the area. I looked at the USPSA sites suggestion, but they are all full at this point.

Looked at travelocity pricing and avail. Can anyone chime in on decent rate / decent room in the area?

    Houma On The Bayou
I know Houma is a tad bit further to drive from but we have a bunch of hotels that have opened up here lately. I live in the south end of Houma and it take's me about 35 minute's to get there. Don't know rate's or availibilty but there's got to be some opening's.

Houma has lots of good places to eat if you are not into the traditional SE LA food. They have an Outback and an Olive Garden, I think.

Houma was our "new Kenner" after the storm. I really liked it there.

Lots of places in Houma and surrounding areas, such as Bayou Vista you will be about 45 minutes away if you choose Bayou Vista though.

Houma you looking at about 20.
