Seems like an idealistic view to the ruling. IANAL but the case could be made to rule for national reciprocity however this SCOTUS has repeatedly ruled "left leaning" and would likely just refuse to hear this case rather than rule on it.

If all states have to recognize a fundamental right, then it shouldn't matter what fundamental right we are talking about. (I didn't read the link, but it can be only one argument.)
This thought did occur to me as this gay marriage case was developing. It would be a good idea to spread this concept as far and wide as possible. Most Americans, including probably the liberal justices on the court, are too stupid to have the foresight to have seen, or see now, this possibility.
To be honest though, the current court seems to lack the integrity to be consistent across the board.

    +1

It shouldn't matter what right we're talking about, but in their eyes, it does.

This would be true if SCOTUS decisions were based on logic, like they used to be. Now, however, the liberal block and Justice Kenedy will rule the way they FEEL things should be - and guns make them feel all googly-woogly nervous inside. So NO GUNS FOR YOU!

    Completely on target!

After the pretendercare ruling and the gay marriage ruling, you all would be fools to think they wouldn't do the same thing to your guns!

Just sit back and think to yourselves; "Can't happen here!"

SCOTUS is not bound by the laws of logic, justice, or common sense. The only thing this court cares about is what is the politically correct position and Americans having guns for protection is not that.
