They're releasing a 34/35 ish .45, the Glock 41, and the Glock 42, which is supposed to be a single stack .380.

Rumor has it that they will get by the import rules that prevented the 25/28 from being sold here because the 42 will be made here.

All of the above is speculation and internet rumors...

I can see a competition type .45. The single stack .380 I wouldn't have thought so but I'm not named Gaston. Thanks for the tidbits JR

If they release a .380, all of the .380's out there (bersa's, Keltec, Ruger LCP, Kahr, and S&W Bodyguard) will have some serious competition. If it sells well, they would be foolish not to bring a 9mm version to market.

I would guess it would be much smaller and slimmer than the G26 which would entertain a big crowd in the CCW market who think Glocks presently are a little to bulky for everyday carry in my opinion. I agree that a single stack 9mm would make sense down the road. I like my Walther PPK but carry the 26 just because of more rounds and no worrying about a safety should the need ever arise.

I went all CSI on the teaser photo and adjusted the brightness and contrast of the image (below). You can see that the entire outline of a pistol is visible and, if it is to scale with the Zippo lighter shown, it would be roughly the size of other compact, polymer frames .380s on the market like the Ruger LCP and S&W Bodyguard.

The G40 should be a long slide 10mm.
The G41 should be a long slide .45 ACP.
    The G42 should be a small 9mm.

ill be interested in the g42 either way it goes. .380 or 9mm

Me too. Whatever it is, I'm sure it will be much more pleasurable to shoot than my S&W 442 Airweight. It will also have better sights, hold more rounds, quicker to reload, and it will be thinner than a revolver.

All I know is that I'll have to have one. I came real damn close to picking up a shield, but held out because I knew glock wasn't gonna get left behind(gotta have faith). It would be logical in my opinion that it would be chambered in 9mm and 40, just cause they already have the barrels. Just a guess, probably not to hard to get setup to manufacture the rest of it frame, slide, mags, etc. Looks like my 442 air weight will get even less pocket time now.
