She already has an Arminius .32 S&W long 7 shot revolver and a Springfield XD .40 and wants to add a slim 9mm.

Im sure Springfield will come out with an XDs 9mm as soon as we buy something else, but thats neither here nor there.

Id also like to look at a S&W Shield but Im having a hard time finding one.

Beretta Nano - Ive kinda heard mixed reviews about its reliability.

Ruger LC9 - Can have a pretty rough trigger but not a deal breaker.

Kahr has a few offerings but I am not familiar with them at all.

Walther PPS is supposed to be super sweet but a little more expensive-but its her idea to get another handgun so budget does not apply.

Any input on any of these is appreciated and let me know if Im over looking something.

I scoffed at the very notion of a tiny single stack 9mm of the polymer flavor.

Until I saw how easily people were shooting the Shield in their pre-release promotional video.

I am amazed every time I take mine out just how much the thing performs like a full sized pistol. And to date, the best freestyle group I've ever shot with a factory gun was with my Shield.

Now if they'd just get the freakin' extra magazines on the market, I'd be a really happy camper.

I have a ruger lc9. The trigger sucks but it fits good in small hands. I will keep it but its not a shooter. Its something to use if you must...

Looks like we are gonna try to find a S&W 9mm Shield or see if Springfield offers an XDs in 9mm.

    SOON Springfield SOON!
