It's great! There are zero trading fees and it's super easy. I always have my phone on me too. I'd definitely recommend trying it.
Depends entirely on what you are wanting to do. I'd prefer a short over a put, but there is also more of a risk of loss associated with a short. With a put, you just lose what you "put" into it, haha.
