Anyone on here does any grip/stock building? I would like to make my own grips for my BHP in the future, and I'd like to know how to get started.

Where can I find pieces of cocobolo for grips?

Is there any kind of literature that might be useful before getting started?

I'm planning on doing some checkering and maybe a very basic engraving. I can't draw very well, but for some reason I've got the envie to take a shot at it. My grandfather used to do a lot of work when he was alive, but he was also much more patient than I am, and a dentist (steadier hands).

    Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
