Why a blind man would have a gun is his bidness, but why the state of New York has to ALLOW you to have a gun of any variety is appalling.

I'm from IL and you need a "FOID" or Firearms Owner Identification card in order to fondle a gun or buy ammunition. No, it doesn't allow you to carry as IL is the only state that doesn't allow it.

We live in a very gun friendly state as far as I can see. I just hate disarming when I go to IL...

One more reason my goal for post-college is federal LEO. Permit? I don't need no stinkin' permit.
