Gun refinishing help

I recently was passed down 2 shotguns that have definitely been sitting for sometime. The rifling in the barrel looks good but the finishing is pretty rough. Doesn’t seem to be any pitting on the barrel. Anyone have tips on cleaning these up. I don’t plan on shooting them but I would like to make them look nice.

Id start with some oil even just some motor oil and some fine steal wool.

Birchwood Casey makes a product called barricade that helps prevent and remove rust specifically. I’d give that a try and see how it does.

Metal rescue has worked very well for me . Just have reblued after
