we avoid gun shows because it is a general rule of most service industries that quality work requires concentration and a proper workshop. if i so much as set foot in a gun show locally i get stopped constantly to talk about gunsmith work. i dont mind this if i am there just to look around but try getting some work done with someone hovering over you and talking the whole time. and i agree fully with paul as well.
Save your money and get a carton of Blue Bunny Ice cream and a 3 pack of cracker jacks and I guarantee you be just as happy as going to the gun show and not have to lie to your friends and family about your trip!
As mentioned before. I'm not opposes to going to the gun show locations, but do your trading and dealing outside! That's where it's a TRUE WIN/WIN between traders/buyers/ sellers.
If I want a garage sale or jewelry show I visit those seperatly!
Again that's just been my experience in the past! Possibly things have changed; if so please feel free to correct me!
Until then SCREW going to the gunshow and going inside the exhibit!
