So I get my income tax refund in next week. Was looking into these... Anyone have any experience with the company? Or the rifle itself...

Watched the guys on Myth Buster's shoot one....way to much of a good thing for me. 30-06 is my limit.

No experience with the Serbu, but I have an AR-50. The .50 is a hoot! You don't hear it so much as feel the explosion (wear ear plugs plus ear muffs). You don't feel the recoil but any sweat on your face is now on the inside of your glasses. And it makes really big holes in anything.

I shot of of those years ago at Sherburne, loved it and want to get me one someday! The recoil is a big shove, not as violent as you might think! A 12 ga pump with 3 inch mags hurts worse IMHO. Let us know if you get one!

Agreed with Dougstump. Have an AR-50. Lots of fun. Just looking for a Barrett now. As fun as the single shot AR-50. It's got to be blast with semi-auto with a 10 round magazine.

Several years ago, I picked up some 500 grain hp's made for 500 Nitro Express. Loaded them up in BMG & whoo-ho! Hit a water filled freon tank & you demonstrate the big bang theory. The exit hole exceeds the tank diameter.
