Has anybody visited Branson, MO?

Hey guys, taking a family vaca to Branson was wondering if anybody had any tips or good places to visit, while over there. Thanks

Great shows, you have to ride the ducks, dinner show on the river boat is awesome. Learn the back streets so you can get to your show or whatever when the main street is stopped with traffic. Watch for the "blue hairs" (old ladies driving). Plan what you want to see and buy your tickets a day before.

I went there a few times for my birthdays as a young'in. It was only a few hours' drive from where I grew up. I was completely shocked when I came to Louisiana and started seeing "BRANSON" tshirts and finding out that it's apparently a popular destination for people in Louisiana, lol.

I don't think I'd travel for it, but sometimes it is just nice to go somewhere far away, and it's as good as any other. I haven't been in a long time. It's a fun time though.
