Has anyone used .308win Berger 175gr BT target long range bullets?

Someone suggested I use the Berger 175gr long range target bullets for my 308win and I was wondering if anyone else has tried them and what thier thoughts are. Supposedly they are a superior bullet and I was wondering if that is true. Any responses will be greatly appreciated.

I haven't shot the 175's, but I've weighed, measured & shot a sh*t load of their 125 gr. Flat Base, 135 gr. FB, 168 gr. VLD, and 168 gr BTHP (both moly & reg.), all in .308.
They are a very consistent bullet.

NOTE: The load in the image IS NOT a .308 Win. It is a .30 IHMSA.

Berger is a great bullet. I run the 175's in my gun for hunting. They shoot the same POI and same velocity as 175 SMK's. I am loading my to mag length and getting good results. Some people claim they work best jammed into the lands which may be longer than your mag will accept. I would say pick up a hundered and see how they work in your gun before making a huge order.

The Target VLD and the Hunting VLD are supposedly the same bullet but the jacket on the Hunting is thinner. The are supposed to fly the exact same.
