this is the first season rite?

    Yep.
I'm watching it. It's really good pretty different from what's on TV currently. A few moments where you know whats going to happen because it's just stereotypical TV but there's plenty things that keep you guessing also. I look forward to the next episode everytime

Woody Harrelson and Matthew McConaughey are both great actors. Just watched Rampart....Harrelson was great in that role. He's a really good actor. I'll have to check out True Detective.

I've stayed out of this thread till now because I got a week behind. I'm really pulled into this short series. Love Harrelson and McConaughey together in this. McConaughey has gone dark since Killer Joe, the weight loss of Dallas Buyers Club and this, hell its a different side of him. He needs to check in at a Texas BBQ shack and gain about 20 pounds.
Every episode has been suspenseful and I can't wait to see how it comes together.

Ok so I'm not going to lie, I'm struggling to get into this show.

I watched 4 episodes last night and I'm about to watch ep 5 but I'm just not feeling it like the other shows I really get into.

Maybe not. This story will be wrapped up by the end of the season but another season on the same theme "truth vs. Spoken truth" is possible according to the writer

I've never watched half a season or watch an entire season in one sitting. Seems like it would kill the suspense knowing you can just hit a button and go to the next episode instantly. I'm sure it's efficient and you get the gist of something but it kinda cheapens it. But like I said I've never done it so ...

Just for a little color. Nic Pizzalotta , the author, is an attorney in Lake Charles. He was born and raised in Jennings. His dad was a cobbler and a good one. You youngsters can look up what a cobbler does. Not many left.

It's what I do. It doesn't bother me.

I live without cable so I'm used to it.
