I was reading about the mobile home heat problem and it started me thinking. (Scary). Anyone here besides me have a outdoor furnace? I really like mine. And by the way over the couple of years I've had it my power bill in the winter has been 80 - 90 bucks for a 2700 square foot house with 10 foot ceilngs.
Last night 27 degrees and I slept out frm under the covers.
All, one thing wood is not an issue with me, except cutting it. Time!
    Any responses appreciated.

Yeah its a firebox surrounded by a water jacket. The water is heated and pumped through pex line to a heat exchanger mounted in your exiting HVAC system. Uses the system blower to distribute the heat. Mine burns hard or soft woods. All considered I like it. But not something for inside the city limits.
Google outdoor furnace. By the way mine is made by Shaver outdoor furnaces.
