I am not 100% sure but I believe the AMD's built on FEG receivers are factory built.

I picked up 2 FEG's a couple months ago. Polished the bolt, carrier, and the hammer and it is sweet. Tapco trigger is a must. Tennessee guns is where mine came from.(jgsales) You will love it. The only thing is that it will accept any ribbed mag but does not like Euro mags.

Just purchased one. It really is a good deal. I have never seen and AMD below $500 with a chrome lined bore. Even then it was like $479.00 if I remember right. Im super excited. Hopeful they still have them in stock to actually ship it, lol.

I agree, I was there too and they did look identical. The only thing I can tell the difference on is the stock release button. The ones I saw at the gun show, all except one, release button was smooth and round. My button has a screw slot in it. Besides that very much the same.
