New member from rural Amite area here, My wife and I will be taking a CCW class in a couple weeks and I stumbled across this forum while searching for ways to educate myself about conceal carrying and to catch up on the firearms world in general. I've been around guns pretty much all my life. I can remember watching my Dad clean his Remington .30-06 at the age of 4 or 5 and being amazed. He took me hunting for the first time a couple years later and shortly after our first trip, bought me a .22 single shot 'Chipmunk' rifle (my son has it now). I've been a gun enthusiast ever since. I look forward to reading through this forum and would like to thank all those who have contributed to the great information contained within.
