Hey guys (and gals), I'm Toby Tomplay. I shot at a cancer benefit/fundraiser clay pigeon shoot this past weekend and had a blast (no pun intended).
I joined here to look at classifieds, as I'm narrowing the search for a skeet/trap gun. I'm also searching for someone who is a veteran of the sport, just to pick their brain for 5-10 minutes with questions, as I narrow the criteria for the make/model of gun that's gonna be best for me.

If anyone knows of anyone who's super-knowledgeable (and willing to chat with me), I'd be very grateful. Thanks for letting me join the site!

A few years ago, I bought a Ruger single barrel trap new in box for $1800. Turned out to be one of 400 made. I sold it for $3000 one month later. The only thing I knew about trap guns, was which end the shot came out of; but I did like the way the profit came out !

Thanks guys! Pretty sure I'm looking for an over/under 12GA. I want a low-recoil shock absorber on the butt; I shot one of those last weekend and loved it. Heard the Citories and Cynergy's (sp?) were great. Looking for a used one, if anyone knows of any for sale.
