Below is an image of what has been told to me to be a "Ball Valve", though not a traditional one by any means. It is inline of a cooling system on a 35KW Generator, on both the in going (to the engine block), and the out going (back to the radiator).
Any of you engineer types know exactly what this is called specifically?
Size is 3/4 inch inside diameter. It is connected to 90 degree steel elbows on one end, and hose on other.
