Hey guys I bought a UTG tac light about a year back maybe a little less. It is the 15 lumen (EL228) came with the handheld setup and a "kit" to mount it on a piccatiny rail. It was working fine the other night when I was searching for my dog. I grabbed it last night and it was really dim so I replaced the batteries with some streamlight ones I had bought for it not knowing it came with it's own. Now it is brighter but no where near as bright as it was before. What could be wrong?

Thanks man it does run off of a led IRB.
I will most likely just buy a name brand one this go round. I cant find my receipt so this one is most likely a lost cause.

I just got a fenix pd22 as my EDC. Very impressive light for the size 3.5 inches and 190 lumens. I haven't researched if they make a weapon light line also but the quality is in this little powerhouse of a light for sure and its only $60.
