henry .22 rifle

hey guys.just picked up a new henry rifle in .22 with the octagon barrel. its made excellent. wonder if I should scope it (seen some scoped and looked good) or a red dot sight? what yall think?

Just a suggestion because it seems like the first thing overlooked these days, but why not shoot it with irons for a while and see what you think? I understand the sights on that gun a pretty darn good. None of my .22's have scopes on them now and I enjoy shooting them far more than I used to. Especially when it's twilight and things are jumpin.

it has semi buckhorn sights, I don't like.

I put a set of skinner peep sights on mine. They are much better than the factory buckhorn sights, and more accurate.

Thanks for the link, I see he does make sights to fit different manufactures firearms and +1
