I tend to agree with you Dave!! A buddy of mine ordered some of the .308 2 days ago and I just got off the phone with him asking him if he got a notice....He said he got one yesterday. I think they got overwhelmed with the orders and realized that they priced the stuff way too low and decided to not sell any of it at that price...and now the .30 stuff too??? Thats pretty crappy business and whoever in mgmt decided to price it that low should be fired for causing this headache and bad publicity. Idiots....I only go to Cabelas when they have stuff on sale or if I need an item ASAP. Otherwise, I go to Academy to get the same stuff but cheaper..

Yep guarantee that's what happened. No way it was just a "mistake" that both their .308 and their .30 just so happened to be marked down at the same time on accident. Things just dont happen that way. Their regular prices are so crazy that I dont shop there for anything other than good sales for the most part. That and my son loves going to look at all the stuff.

I havent received a cancelled email, logged on to their site and see my order status as cancelled.

It could possibly be an error, as the 7.62x39 is marked at $4.99/box, and some employee could have just mistakenly priced all the Herters at $4.99/box? I see it says out of stock on both the .30 and .308 on the website now too. Am I mad, no, do I wish I could have gotten 2500 rounds of .30 carbine ammo shipped to my door for $268, yes!

I'll second the mistake thing as well. I have set prices before on items online and it is very easy to screw up a couple of prices.
