    hi all i'm new to this sight had some questions i just traded a browning blr lever action 270 wsm for a savage bolt 308 did i miss up i don't think so i heard alot of good things about the savage bolt action is it a good hunting rifle.

    After my experience with a BLR, you got the upper hand with the Savage. Moneywise you probably came out upside down, but the savage is a better rifle. And ammo is way cheaper.

    I've owned a few Brownings and I've owned a few Savages! The Browning has a better resale value if you're into that, the Savage will kill a deer just as dead as a Browning! So if you are happy with the trade then great, that's all that counts! :p
