This one may actually influence something.

The Mitch Landrieu transition team is seeking input on the NOPD Superintendent search. The survey will be up through 3/12/10 at the bottom of this page from the transition team website. Most of the questions are ranking agreement/disagreement with statements, but there are a few places for your comments.

I'm thinking of going to their public meeting at the Urban League, but I think I'll look a bit out of place there.

I didn't take the survey. I looked at it and all of them should be 'very important'. Those questions are like giving a survey saying "Do you think it's important your future wife was NOT a whore who took **** every way possible and will probably cheat on you" Least important or very important...lol

Done. Most of it looked like common sense stuff, though. I mean, who woulda thought that "having strong leadership skills" would be important to a police chief. We don't need another Eddie Compass in office who took off after Katrina.

The valueable part of the survey is the part where you can add your comments. Most of the selection committee is either neutral or against firearms. They need to hear from people who disagree with them.
