I didn't feel like cooking much for dinner tonight so I made homemade waffles and pan griddled Jalapeno/Pineapple sausage with a side of strawberries.

Not too bad for a midweek evening meal!

No, that was I want to say Country Pleasin' brand. It's a pretty darn good sausage and would make for a great hot sausage poboy.
Making some fresh Italian sausage is on my to-do list though. Just not satisfied with what you buy in stores.

Too funny, but you did make them at home so they are homemade!
Krusteaz Belgium waffle mix is a good one.

Yeah, I've used strawberries, blueberries, pecans, bananas, chocolate chip and even bacon in waffles. All are great but I just felt like plain 'ol regular waffles that night.
