Hosting Gunshow - seeing if there is any interest

We were trying to see if there was any interest with some of the shops and individuals on here for us to host a gunshow in Slidell (and if it works out in surrounding areas). It would be the full production. We have already spoken to the Slidell Auditorium and have that worked out. We would be renting tables like a standard gunshow. Just trying to get an idea who would be interested in getting a table and/or attending. This would not be a "Bayoushooter.com" only show and we would be trying to make it more than a "swords, beef jerky and dream catchers.......oh my!" event (although good beef jerky is always welcome ).

No more junky "Gunshow food" either. We would have it catered by a local restaurant. Jambalaya, gumbo.....good food. Not boiled hotdogs and cold pizza.


Edited: Venue would be Slidell Municipal Auditorium sometime in May.

There's enough gun show support in this area to hold one every weekend.

The 4.5 hour drive would be a bit much from this side of the state, The one like we had in Lafayette a couple of years ago was nice as it was only 100 miles away.

I'd go as long as its not Memorial day weekend, Bayou Country Superfest is that weekend. Like to see real gun shows again, Guns, Ammo, etc, not flea market crap.
