House Raising Recommendations

All,

With the city of Slidell having a flood mitigation meeting tonight and me living on the outskirts in the unincorporated parts of St Tammany Parish, I have come to the realization that my house might need to be raised a bit. With all the companies doing the work today and some could not spell it yesterday, I am looking for some recommendations on respected companies that have a great deal of experience in raising slab homes.

I had a few New Orleans companies refuse to raise my house in St Tammany because of supposed difficulty with inspectors and/or code. One went all the way to the day to sign the contract and backed out. Anyway, Darouse Foundation out of Hammond did mine, also in unincorporated St Tammany, and I was very happy with their work. They even worked with me on my preferences during the process and there was zero down time in the house. The day it was raised I worked and when I came home the house was completely useable, just with temporary stairs, etc.
