In Lafayette and Youngsville yes. Both scenarios I’m talking about are in neighborhoods. And then there’s the outlier that’s 200k for .5 acre in some giant ass neighborhood full of mini mansionsDamn thats high. Does that include all utilities to the property?
wow i paid less than that for my wooded 7.5 acres in rural Livingston parish not in a flood zone and high and dry from 2016 flood100k an acre in Youngsville or 100k for .4 acre in Lafayette. It’s getting stupid. And here we are trying to determine if we’re going to build a new house. No greater feeling than selling high and paying the premium lol
Lots of old dairy farms up there being broken up. My MIL got three cleared acres, nice and high and pretty level, for $24K and built a house.I paid $4500/ac last summer for unimproved land up near Franklinton.
